This and similar images around the theme of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster were made two years after the incident, when it began to emerge how many thousands would suffer for years. Not just people either, all flora and fauna in the area was affected by mutations and degenerative diseases.
From a series of drawings which explore the relationship between the individual and the social collective.
This was a particularly dark and difficult period in my life and these are just three of hundreds of drawings that helped me reflect on myself and the situation I was in at the time.
