Mr. Hammerstingl,
I found your “Color Photography, Introduction” web article very interesting especially the comment regarding Autochrome glass negatives and that “they could also be printed on paper with excellent results”. In spite of spending many hours online I have found very little even mentioning printing their “color” printing on paper”.
I am particularly interested in just the name of the process used (colorized screened plates such as early National Geographic Autochromes, lithography etc.).
Can you tell me what that color paper printing process was back in the early 1900’s for Autochromes?
Anything you can tell me will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
David Felts
